Equal opportunities for all Afghan children

Equal opportunities for all Afghan children

Afghanistan is one of the poorest countries in the world. Education is at the heart of struggle for many Afghan children inside schools and for millions of others who are unable to attend school due to extreme poverty. The Aida Children’s Fund provides equal educational opportunities for these children through key projects.

Our Projects

Rubies in the Dust
A book of true stories of resilience  written by Afghan children

Purchase through our Book Store!

We asked 6 Afghan children to write  their story and to share it with the world in this moving and inspiring book. You can purchase this for you or your children to gain an understanding of life as a child in Afghanistan and you will also be  contributing to the production of translated versions that we will distributed  free to impoverished Afghan children.

Hashimi School, Herat

Project Complete!

With the amazing support of our team and generous donations, we have completed the building work at Hashimi School.  The school’s original classrooms were  in a dreadful state of disrepair with no roofs, running water or chalk boards.  We are very proud of the brand new purpose built classrooms that the students and teachers can enjoy and use for a quality education and for the growth of it’s students.

Sponsor an orphan or street child’s education

There are thousands of children on the streets of Afghanistan who have no access to schooling or any form of education due to severe poverty. With your help we are looking at fully sponsoring  impoverished street and orphan children’s education by putting them in school and positively changing their future prospects forever.

A talk to inspire

By | News | No Comments

Aida Children’s Fund was founded nearly 2 years ago and through sheer determination, hard work and some help from generous contributors, we have raised enough money to build 3 classrooms at Hashimi School and we are well on track to self publish a book of inspiring Afghani children storie20150916_111246s called Rubies in the Dust.  Part of our revenue stream is from talks that Tariq, (the founder of ACF) gives around the region.  The latest was at St Marks School in Christchurch and we wanted to share this letter below that we received from the school’s Acting Principal.

If you have an organisation or school that would benefit from a motivational speaker of substance such as Tariq, please email us on info@aidachildrensfund.org  to arrange. Read More
